Taro root is a custom food item that can be grown from its crop. When harvested, the player receives 1 taro root as well as 1-2 taro tubers. Taro root does not regrow.
Eating a taro root recovers one hunger point (0.5 hunger bars) and 0.6 saturation points.
Taro root can be turned into pickles and juice, and is used to make Poi.
